It’s a Pleasure to Meet You

I have seen it happen time and again.  When students are paired with the right tutor, they not only thrive academically, but often their characters are impacted for life.  At Christian Tutors of America (CTA), we understand how important it is for kids to be influenced by positive role models.  Of course, good grades are important, and we certainly want to provide superior tutors that will equip your kids for success in the classroom. But even more important, our goal is to support your effort in raising your child to be the man or woman that God has destined them to be.

My name is Arthur Watson and I am the founder of CTA.  As one who has taught in many public schools, I fully understand the struggle parents are facing today to raise their kids amid a secular (and often anti-Christian) culture.  Yet, God’s Spirit is still at work, and many school-age children are taking a stand for Him. We hope we can play a roll in this. Please take a moment to browse the profiles of our pool of Christian tutors.  Chances are, you will meet someone who will not only  be a great academic coach and mentor, but also a really good friend.

Previously, Mr. Watson served as

Director of Calvary Chapel Bible College--Downey Extension as well as with the administrations at two prominent Southern California Christian schools. In addition to his administrative experience, Mr. Watson has taught in several public high schools including in the Los Angeles and Long Beach Unified School Districts. His education includes state teaching certificates from Arizona and California, an A.A. degree in Administration of Justice, a B.A. degree in Political Science, and a Masters degree in Education.
