Hello! My name is Sarah, and I am a graduate student at California Baptist University. I began college as a Pre-Civil Engineering major because I enjoyed doing math and physics. However, I also loved teaching and being with people. I ended up switching my major and graduating with a bachelor's of Fine arts, and I am currently working on earning a multiple subject teaching credential. As a current math tutor, I found that I could still do math and physics, help people, and teach at the same time without having to major in engineering.
What I believe:
I believe that education is a way we can be better equipped to serve others, according to God's purpose for us. I also believe that we should use the gifts and opportunities we have been given to demonstrate God's love for us and others through acts of service. As a bonus, In learning about the world around us, I believe that we are also learning to appreciate and enjoy creation, which is an act of worship that glorifies the the Lord. Through Christian Tutors of America, I hope to help students understand materials necessary for academic achievement, encourage appreciation for learning, and reflect life-long learning skills.
