Hi! My name is Caleb. I graduated from Orange County Christian School and I'm currently working towards a degree in Math education. When I finished High School, I was accepted to Southern Utah University. I completed 2 years of my degree before life brought me back to California. In California, I found my amazing wife, our two adorable children, and my passion for teaching.
I've always excelled at learning and teaching others a new way to learn. I believe the key to reaching a student is confidence. My focus is to first help my students know that they can learn anything. I've tutored students from ages 5-20, and after helping them believe in themselves, had them improve either half a letter grade or more.
I believe, for us as Christians, God asks us to learn about Him in everything that we do. In Math, we learn his love for order and law. In Science, we see his wisdom and power. In History, we see his love for us. We are made in the image of God. (Genesis 1:27) I believe this includes, not only our emotions, but our minds as well. We are able to fathom complex dreams beyond any other creation. God desires for us to seek Him the world around us. The more we learn the more we know about who God is and how much He loves us.
I was raised in the Church of Christ. I would volunteer in the food pantry to food the homeless, until I was 15. After becoming part of Knott Ave. Christian Church, I would still volenteeratmy old church. I helped the youth with fundraisers and everts. I am still in Knott Ave. helping with the lights and stage hand most services.
